Calvary Cougars Basketball:
Calvary Chapel Bible College of Indianapolis will be competing in its inaugural basketball season in the fall of 2006. This new program will provide athletes with a college atmosphere of athletic competition along with spiritual growth in their relationship with God.
Richard Day, the Director of CCBCi, is committed to this new opportunity which allows young men to continue their athletic pursuit not normally possible when seeking education in Biblical studies. He believes this will also bring growth to CCBCi that was established in 1999.
The Bible College is located on the Northeast side of Indianapolis on the campus of Horizon Christian Fellowship at 7702 Indian Lake Road. This location is also the home of Horizon Christian School with students from pre-kindergarten to twelfth grade which is currently competing in athletics under the direction of Keith Meyers.
The administration staff of CCBCi has asked Keith Meyers to be the athletic director of the basketball program. Keith Meyers is very excited about announcing the basketball coach for the new Calvary Cougars team, Josh Fitzwater, a 2001 graduate and basketball competitor from IUPUI.
They are inviting young men eighteen to twenty-four who are interested in growing in their Biblical studies and competing in our inaugural season to enroll in CCBCi. All students can earn a Bachelor of Biblical Studies or an Associate of Theology degree through attending CCBCi full time in just two years with on-campus housing included in tuition. To qualify for the athletic program, a student must be enrolled at least as a part time student.
Registration has begun for the fall Semester which starts August 14th. They are currently conducting tours of their ninety-five acre campus with its full athletic complex.
