Calvary Cougars Basketball Team
Join our new basketball athletic program starting in October. There will be 12 live games with officials, shot clocks and an official Calvary Cougar uniforms. We will join 7 other two and four year Bible Colleges for a complete season of play. We are looking for 10-14 players who are after the heart of God and want to be apart of a new Basket Ball team. Wilderness Backpacking Trip: September 11-15, 2006
Students will be spending five days and four nights backpacking 8-10 miles a day through the wilderness of Indiana learning servant leadership, wilderness basics, and teamwork. In the middle of the week each student will have a 24 hour time of solitude and fasting to seek the Lord. Along the way they will learn the importance of food, laughter, singing, dialogue, fellowship, contentment, problem solving, group games, encouragement, and bible study for the success of a team. This trip will begin to prepare them for their international mission’s trip in May.
Midwest Pastor's Conference: October 9-11, 2006
Students will have the privilege of serving the pastors of the various Calvary Chapels in the Midwest that will be attending this annual conference. They will work together each day to prepare and serve meals to these hard-working men and women who serve their churches. This year's conference guest speaker is Bob Coy, pastor of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale. The conference will be held in Indiana at the Lake Placid Conference Center, located 12 miles north of Muncie.
